Should U.S. wealth be redistributed from the richest to the poorest? If yes, how do you think it should be done? If no, do you think the current tax system is fair and why?

No.

I feel that there should be a flat tax though of 20%-25% that everyone pays.

While I feel badly for the poor most people who are wealthy worked hard for their money. I don't think it would be fair to take their hard earned money and give it to those just because they are poor. Please don't get me wrong, I believe all under privilaged need a hand up not a hand out at times. I hope this doesn't make me sound snobby.

No. Countries who have tried that have usually ended up failing financially because it removes all incentives for people to work hard, go to school, etc. Why try hard if you know you can get the same amount without working hard. So no!!
