I am always on the side of not parting with my money any sooner than I have to. So, I don't want electric company taking more money from me before I actually owe it to them. Our bill varies from $50 (spring and fall) to $100 (winter) to about $150 (summer).

But I do my personal budgeting and knowing that summer months will be higher, plan for that. No reason for BGE collect interest on my money, when I can do it just as well.
