Hi there. Two years ago I was in the same position, except the bankrupty thing. I really like Mary Hunt. Honestly, I think you need to get a good Emergency fund started. I currently have 1000 cash on hand in the house and 2500 in a seperate account that I can get to. I'm glad that I have it since my AC unit on my house is going bad. I don't have to use credit cards to pay for it.

I would TRULY evalutate what you spend your money on things. And that's everything!!! I did this and was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO surprised at what I was wasting money on. Don't be afraid to ask for help. You have to develop a budget for the next 3 years and stick to it.

I like Mary Hunt because she has it set up as bill account, freedom account, contingency account and savings. And you may not be able to do everything at one time, but that's okay. She also has it set up for your misc expense that come up through the year you've budgetted and have the money on hand. Beleive me, it's alot of homework to get going but it's so worth it.

I know how you feel, last year I was losing sleep, sick and begging for any advice. I took it to heart and in December of this year I will only have my mortgage. My car will be paid off, and I have no CC debt. If you need help email me at diamondgrl1177@comcast.net

I'll help anyway I can
