I am tickled with our new phone service. we converted out phone to cable. we used to pay

$50 per month for phone service
$25-200 for long distance
$100 for cable, HBO and internet.

by converting phone to cable and dropping HBO, our cable bill is now $125. still alot, but baby steps toward getting rid of extended cable channels. cannot do w/o internet of course.

What's YOUR latest victory?

taking us off the budget billing plan for our power company, we were being charged $110 a month on the budget billing, but our actual usage was only around $60-70, so we told them to take us off budget billing, which ment that the credit in our account applied to the next bill, meaning we only paid $20 this month on the power

We switched to Vonage about a year ago and we save at least $50 just with that alone. We love Vonage too.

We save with our communication and internet services.

$88 a month and we get high speed internet, phone and unlimmited long distance. Had to have the long distance (family is all long distance) and the high speed.

We save by not having cable tv at all, or cell phones.

We were paying with dial up and non unlimmed phone service $70 a month but I am now a high speed addict

We are in the process of getting our alarm service to monitor through the internet so we can turn off our home phone and just use our cell phones. This will save us around 70.00 a month!:happy dance:
