With the exception of car seats, things probably won't be that updated by the time you are ready for your next child. I would hold onto things because it will cost your more to replace everything. Most people expect to pay bottom dollar for things. I sold a lot of things on craigslist and consigned the clothing. If I planned to need them again, I would have held onto everything. One thing that drove me to clean house was thinking about how quickly baby items are outdated. My MIL held onto her 30 year old stuff and actually thought I was going to use that with our children. Most of the items looked like torture devices.

If you are almost certain you will have another baby, I would keep the baby stuff. Buying all new (even if it's second hand items) will cost you more than the money you will make selling it. Your items will not be outdated in only 4 years and as you said, if it was good enough for your girls, it will be good enough for this next baby.

Of course, this does not help to get some money. Maybe you have some other stuff you can sell??

With my twins (they're 11), I started parting with baby items (duplicates) when they were around 3. By the time they were five, we had sold or donated everything else. We only kept a few special outfits. My surprise baby was born nine years after the twins. We didn't need nearly all the stuff we had previously (such as the changing table, high chair -- she uses a booster), and the car seats would have been seriously outdated.
