Does anyone have any advice on the work-from-home jobs available on the internet? I have always worked and I find it hard to not financially be contributing to the household income.
ANy thoughts, opinions and ideas.....

Most "work-from-home" jobs you see advertised on the internet are scams. You could try your luck on eBay.. many people are successful buying and selling on there. What did you do for work before? I'm starting up my own transcription business just to try to earn $50-$100/week and help out.

We have made the decision for our sons to go to a private school. I have always been a stay at home mom, but now with both of them in school full-time I feel guilty for not contributing finanically. I would love to work from home and earn about $600 per month without having to babysit. Any suggesstions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Michelle

I was going to suggest babysitting, that seems to be the only legitimate home business.
Another idea is the newspaper route if you can get out in the early AM and back before everyone wakes up. That's some extra cash too.

Another thing is direct sales, home parties (Avon, pampered chef, etc.) Personally, I could never do this, but alot of people do pretty well at it.

I have been in direct sales now for a little over a year. I love it!! I was a hairdress previously and the hours and $ wasn't cutting it after having baby #2..I had a party and the girl doing my show told me how much I could have made that night if I was doing the same thing. I though HHMMM! I could do that. My dh said to give it a try what do you have to lose?? So over a year later, I am making more than my husband and still growing strong.

You should take a look at some companies! Find something that you like..

In addition to the ones sahmof3 noted, I work for LiveOps ...

LiveOps - Networking the World's Work, On Demand Call Center, Work at Home Agent, Outsourcing Call Center Solution, Call Center Infrastructure, Contact Center Solution, Distributed Contact Center

Search the Mommysavers forums for more information about these jobs. Yes, they are legit. I've been working as a teleservices operator for over a year now.

I'm also looking for job I can do from home. Can you tell us more about LiveOps, what do you do and on average what kind of income is reasonable to expect to start off. I checked out the website and it looks interesting. Thanks!
