I just had to share!

I went to CVS yesterday, and when everything was totaled, they owed me 62 cents! The cashier didn't know what to do. She said that she had never had that happen before! So, she called over a manager. The manager did some punching at the register, then handed me my receipt and said, "Have a good day!" WTH, they adjusted my coupons so that the total would come to ZERO! I wasn't very happy. I could have picked up a candy bar or something for the 62 cents. Anyways, here's what all I got:

Pampers Easy Ups
Kotex Maxi Pads
2- CVS disposable cameras - 27 exp. each (for Daniel to take to church camp next week)
Zest shower gel
Nair bikini cream (for our upcoming FL vacation!)

My boys stood there in amazement when they realized I didn't have to pay a penny! They talked about it all day. I used the sale ads and coupons (CVS and manufacturer) plus some ECBs.

I was a happy camper!:happy dance:

They're supposed to give you back the .62 cents as they get the full coupon amount back. As an employee at Walgreens and a customer at many places when I end up with a negative amount they always give it back to me.

That has always been my experience, too. I overheard the manager tell the cashier to mark the new amount on one of the coupons. So, I don't think they will be trying to get more than they should out of the manufacturer. But, it isn't really fair to the customer.
