You're right, I'm bored!
I did volunteer last year at my kids school, i took turns doing things for 3 grade levels and went to (as a chaperone) all the field trips with my kids. I also worked p/t at curves, and sold AVON. My husband works about 75 hours a week, so it's just me and the kids, and I like being productive. I've worked since I was 14. I'm seriously considering taking 2 classes at the local community college. And I have add.... could you tell???

Around here, people get $50-$100 to clean a 2,000 square foot house, without doing sheets, etc. I don't know what they make anywhere else, but it seems like a good way to earn extra money with a few spare hours.

Good luck in your ventures!

I recently saw an ad about distributing flyers, maybe it was on Craigslist??? I forget the rate offered. It was a bit farther than I wanted to go so I didn't pay much attention. Make sure you factor in gas money if you do this.

I am also thinking of applying with the schools, however I also have a 9 mo. old so I don't want a lot of hours. Our schools pay about $55 for subs w/o a college degree, which I do not have.

Just a thought, a previous poster suggested caring for the elderly. I saw an ad in our paper a person was needed to assist an elderly woman by doing meal preparations, light housework, some errands. I am thinking of calling, I certainly can cook, my mom gets the Cooking for Two magazine and I thought if the person doesn't specifically say I want this for dinner, I can make up some menus for her to choose from. And I thought i could do this and bring the baby if that is acceptable. And she might (or might NOT!) like to see a child.

I don't wanna hijack this post, but I have my own dilema, and will start my own thread on working!

But she seemed VERY excited!

Just want to say I found an ad on Craigslist, they pay $50 for 600 flyers distributed if this helps any!

Where and when did you find this? I never now what is legit or not. I am looking for something very very part time. Like just on Mondays when my husband can watch the kids or a night when the kids are sleeping. Thanks.,
