What is the best place you worked for? Why did you like it? How long did you work there? Was it hard to leave ( if you left)? Mine was working at Advance Auto Parts. I worked there for 3 years with all guys. They were all my friends. I learned a lot about cars and obtained an appreciation for them. The only reason I left is because the inventory specialist job had been eliminated and I had to work every weekend ( Friday, Saturday and Sunday). I do miss it and my buddies How about you?

Although it was at times intense and stressful my favorite nursing job I had was Crew Chief on a Trauma Lifeflight chopper.

The best job I ever had is the one I have now - continuous care nurse for medically fragile children. I take care of children/infants that live at home who have special needs or medical conditions that require around the clock care and supervision. I used to be a night nurse - there to take care of them while parents slept, then I started going to school with kids who were able to attend, and now I am with a homebound child during the day while her parents work.

I worked at a bank for 4 years and loved every minute of it. It was a small family owned bank. My employers were great and they really cared about their employees. I had to quit when DH was transferred.

believe it or not the most fun job i ever had was working at kohls third shift unloading the trucks and putting away the merchandise i worked with really fun people we were always busy and the benefits were great. i left only because a job running a beauty wholesale store came up and it was in my field of hairdressing and paid 3 times the amount i was making it was also a great job but the travel everyother weekend made it not so great as when i worked at kohls.

The best job I've ever had hands down is waitressing. If you work for a national chain (Olive Garden, Chili's, etc.) you make a minimum of $25/hour! If you have to go back to work part time, you can't beat it! Other benefits: minimal costs for work clothes (you wear a uniform and only need one pair of shoes!) real flexibility (easy to get shifts covered if a kiddo is sick; easy to pick shifts up if you need more $!) and free food!

I LOVED my last job!!! I was an executive secretary to the president and the CEO of a collection agency. My office was gorgeous, they spoiled me rotten and I really enjoyed the work. I arranged all the corporate travel arrangements, office meetings, and did the general office things. It was all just fun! I still go to lunch occasionally with one of my old bosses.

I've gotten pretty lucky with most of my jobs and if I didn't like them, I left! lol

The job I have right now is great. I work as an admin assistant but really its turned into more of an office manager. The pay is great and they are really flexible with my schedule. We get 2 weeks paid vacation and lots of paid holidays. And now they just created a maternity leave policy for me and they are giving me 3 months paid maternity leave but I can stay gone longer if I need to.

I love my current company. I worked as Packaging Office Administrator for a Pharamceutical company. I worked there for 8yrs, we were all like a fmaily. I now work as Executive Assistant to the VP and GM of NY/NJ. Good job, he is a great boss. I am learning great things, I never thought I would leave this comapny, but we got bought out, I am workign for the guy who will be closing us down! But I will get a good severance package so see what happens next.

I worked in long term women's shelter. They could stay with us for 1-12 months. I managed the house, attended births, parenting classes, helped them find places to live and gather resources for them throughout the community, did all the grocery shopping and budgeting, baked bread every day and kept up the schedule for the women and the volunteers to keep on top of a 5000 sq foot house with 5-6 families and me all living there. It was hard sometimes to see young lives fractured in so many ways but it was so satisfying when I felt like I was really making a practical difference in their lives. I was surprised by love. I felt so protective and proud of the women as they remade their lives from scratch. It was a live in job (no men allowed) and I had to give it up when I got married.
