Hi FlybyGrace

I saw your post with all the wonderful ideas of gifts to make for Christmas. Would you please list or email me your recipe for the cookies in a jar? I currently have soups but need some desserts also. Thank you so much.

I absolutely love the idea of the little calendar in the CD case--Thank you!
One year the kids made grandpa personalized handkerchiefs--they drew a picture in one of the corners of the handkerchief using fabric markers. My dad loved them ( I believe I got the idea from a Martha Stewart magazine, you could probably find something on her website) And for my mom we did basically the same thing only using plain white dish towels. On one we traced the kids hands. One they drew a picture ect...

I LOVE this!! I have gotten so many ideas! Now...I have to put into action! LOL!! Quick question.....What kind of glue to you use to glue pictures down on tile? Elmers? Hot glue? Then you spray or brush protective coating over it?
I am definitely going to try the Apple butter recipe. I have no clue about canning though! Can I use a regular pot? Is there any procedure I need to follow? As you can tell I am not real crafty, but I would love to learn!!
Oh, and has anyone made their own knot throw before? The one that you tie the fringe together instead of sew. I have only been able to find for kids and not the colors I need to make for adults!! Gosh! my brain is over loaded! LOL!! Doesn't take much!! How soon can I start putting together gifts in a jar? Do they get hard and yucky if done too soon before Christmas?
Ok, I promise, that is all the questions for now! Thanks for the help!!

How about a cookie swap? Invite several of your friends over and swap cookies and recipes
place all different types of cookies in a prettty dollar store basket or glass dish,This is a time of year people have lots of visitors and having the fresh baked cookies on hand really helps. If you can keep the kids out of them.haha

Have you tried your local dollar store. They usually have a variety of these
