My church is offering the Financial Peace University 13 week workshop. It starts tonight, I can't wait! I love Dave Ramsey and am really looking forward to learning more! Anyone else taken the classes?

Dh and I "graduated" from FPU in Aug of '06. We really enjoyed it. Even tho our only debt is our house it taught us a lot about our spending.

So how was the first class? It is so cool that you get to actually take these classes. I live in a small town, so my commute would be quite a long one if I were to try and attend anything like that. I guess I will just continue reading Dave's books and educating myself.

I know on the radio broadcast that he mentioned you can now do Financial Peace University on line.

Thank-you also to KathrynHannah, you had mentioned a while back that you listen to Dave Ramsey on podcast. I started doing it shortly after you mentioned it and would reccommend it to anybody . I get lots done while I listen to him, the podcasts are a great motivational tool.

I love and listen to Dave every chance I get. I admire his straigthforwardedness and his singleminded message. Best of all, his teachings and advices has helped thousands of people break free from the bondage of debt. I love it!

I have been waitng and watching for a FP class to be offered in my area, still waiting. I love DAVE! I listen to him everyday on my way home from work. I am going to see him live in Portland, OR in October. WOO HOO! Are the pod casts free?

Completed the Disneyland Half Marathon 09/03/07.

My dh and I also graduated from FPU last summer. It was so awesome. Our only debt left is out mortgage. And we also learned how to better manage our money. So in May of this year I was finally able to quit my job to stay home with our 2 children. Plus it gives me more time to work the 2 businesses I own. I LOVED everything about the classes. My church is offering them again and I am half tempted to go, just to keep up the motivation and not get into the bad spending habits again. You will learn so much!!!

Has anyone did the classes online? Right now it's $99. I'm seriously thinking about doing it this way because there haven't been any classes offered in my area and the one that was scheduled was cancelled. I've been waiting almost 2 years .
