Hi, everyone! It's my first time posting on this forum.

Our health insurance premiums are eating our budget. We do not have coverage thru my DH's employer. We currently have an Anthem high deductible plan. But the premium is so high we aren't able to fund the Health Savings Account.
Anyone have any ideas on how to save on this item? We want good coverage, but don't want to pay a ton f/ it. Isn't that too much to ask?

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions.

I'm curious about this too, since it will be $400 a month to add our upcoming baby to our existing plan (which is hardly paying a thing for this pregnancy, and it's a good company, Aetna!), we are wanting to find the best child only plan.

for your baby i would check and see if you qualify for the state health care(its not title 19) every state i believe has it. like here in iowa its called hawk-i. your ob should know what it is called. you can get it for free or a fee up to 20 dollars a month. our state gives blue cross blue shield 80/20 my brother and his wife have my nephew on it and they get it for 10 bucks a month based on their income wich combined equals 19 bucks an hour. its worth looking into.

I also would like to find good health insurance. My pregnancy and first year of DS's life was covered by Medicaid but now we need to find another option. I would like to get pregnant again so need coverage that isn't over the moon for that. My fiance is self-employed and I'm a SAHM.

Any suggestions?!? Thx!
