If my grocery store has a special where if I use my shopper's card, certain items are bogo free, plus I have a coupon for the same item that is bogo free, do I essentially pay nothing? When they scan both items, the register takes off the price of one, then at the end of my order and my coupons are scanned, wouldn't the coupon take off the price of one as well? I wanted to find out before I went to the store and ended up paying...

typically the manufacturers' coupons can be used independently of anything the grocery store does, so you're doubling your savings!

Thanks! I was bummed because as of yesterday, my favorite grocery store stopped doubling coupons. I always used coupons during sales and received many items for next to nothing. I was trying to figure out another way to save big.

see. i tryed that, and the guy argued with me that i had only brought one, so there was no other one to get "free" and i couldnt combine my bogo coupon with their bogo sale.

CVS is good about letting use a BOGO coupon with their BOGO sale and allowing it to be free. Walgreens and grocery stores usually won't let you, but it doesn't hurt to try!
