If you were to die tomorrow, suddenly and without warning, would you be financially ready?

Do you have wills?

Guardians for your children?

Does anyone know where your wills are located?

Do you have a list somewhere for all your bank / savings / retirement accounts, the #, and approx. how much is in each one?

Do you have enough life insurance so that your families standard of living wouldn't change? (Even if you are a SAHM, there needs to be enough money to hire a babysitter or Nanny if something happened to you).

Is there anything you need to do to be ready for 'tomorrow' ... just in case?

Nope. We are ready. Don't want it to happen, but we are ready. My mother is even on our safety deposit box at the bank, but also has copies of our wills in THEIR safety deposit box. We also have a list with accounts, amounts, etc. as well as our college information for the kids.

We are kind of ready. We have verbally talked about who gets guardianship of the kids and we do have Life Insurance policies. I do know that dh would be lost because he does not know half of the online account passwords and stuff to get into the billing.

Nope, we don't have a will. I have a verbal agreement with my sister that she would become guardian of my girls. We have 2 separate life insurance policies on me (one is a nice one through work) so they would be taken care of financially.

I need to work on a list of accounts. I know Dh would be lost if he had to take over paying the bills because I handle everything. I guess I need to come up with a list so that DH could take it over if he had to.

Do you have wills? Nope something we have been wanting to get done when we have the extra money
Guardians for your children?
we haven't decided on this one since all my family is in NY and all his is in ID so there is no agreement on this one
Does anyone know where your wills are located?
don't have one yet
Do you have a list somewhere for all your bank / savings / retirement accounts, the #, and approx. how much is in each one?
Nope but have great life inc pol
Do you have enough life insurance so that your families standard of living wouldn't change? (Even if you are a SAHM, there needs to be enough money to hire a babysitter or Nanny if something happened to you).
My dh had one through work. I have 2 that my mom took out growing up and one with dh's work
Is there anything you need to do to be ready for 'tomorrow' ... just in case? We would have to have a will drawn up and decide on gaurdian ship we have talked about it and my sister knows how I feel if I pass before DH

If you were to die tomorrow, suddenly and without warning, would you be financially ready? No

Do you have wills? no

Guardians for your children? There dad but if not him my sister would take them in

Does anyone know where your wills are located? NA

Do you have a list somewhere for all your bank / savings / retirement accounts, the #, and approx. how much is in each one? On my computer my MS Money file has all of it.

Do you have enough life insurance so that your families standard of living wouldn't change? (Even if you are a SAHM, there needs to be enough money to hire a babysitter or Nanny if something happened to you). No my DH would more then likely have to somehow come up with child care money or sale the house and rent a cheeper place but he wouldn't be destitute

Is there anything you need to do to be ready for 'tomorrow' ... just in case? You bet I need to find a lawyer get the wills in order, Its one of those things that we need to do but being in debt payoff mode I don't want to spend them money. Really I just am not planning on going 'tomorrow'. Oh and my DD would have to wean rather quickly too!
