Hypothetical question.

If you could know your date of death, would you want to know?

My dh says no but I would. It would make planning so much easier. If I knew my retirement years would be short ~ or if I wasn't going to make it until then, I'd rather spend my money now rather than save it up for later but if I found out I would live to 107, then I'd make sure to have enough.

NO!! I think I'd spend my time counting down the days until that date. It would take away from enjoying my timewith my DH, newborn daughter, and DS.

hmm... interesting...as I was thinking about this, I though well, if I knew, I would do this, that, and the other thing. Then I thought....well, then why am I not doing it now? Thanks for bringing up this thought-provoking subject!

I dunno...what would be the error rate? Will it be predicted I die of cancer when I'm 80 and then I get hit by a truck at 59? Hmmm.

Absolutely not! If I knew, it would be all I could focus on.

I think we should all live likes it's tomorrow. Tell the people that you love how much you love them. Be a little kinder. Do the things you want to do. Today is the day that is important.

**besides all that, it would freak me out...lol

I want to add to this that I have seen people who have gotten the news that their days are numbered. Even sadder than them getting the news is that they spend many of those days being sad and depressed and not making the most of them.

Let me get hit by a surprise bus anyday.
