i used to drop dd #1 off at preschool then have my younger in the car and we'd zoom off to

walmart
target
linens and things
tj maxx
b.j's
pottery barn outlet
old navy
grocery store

and i'd scoop up dd#1 from school, with bags in the back and wonder we're always livin lean.

well now that ive stopped cold turkey going to any of those places

I HAVE NOTHING TO DO!

not literally - yea i have boat loads of laundry, house cleaning and mom/wife stuff to do - but now i have this time on my hands that i used to fill with going from store to store every t & th...now i dont....so i am actually going to start using the gym membership that i "half heartedly" use....

interesting huh? ive been filling my "mommy time" with needless shopping. now i actually have to think of things to do!

This happened to me last year when I would drop my youngest off at preschool- I would run errands and have extra time to kill so I would hit a few extra stores. When I decided to come home and do housework and exercising we saved a lot of money.

Good for you! Enjoy the extra money you will have now!

I'm sure your kids will appreciate the new found mommy-time better than getting to know the sales ladies at Target by name! Good for you!

If you need something check out Meetup.com . I so love getting together with other moms and kids during the day.
