O.k. I know I probably should just move on but I am sooooooo ticked! My sis called today to inform me that she talked to a lady that works at the daycare and she said they still need someone. She had got called back recently but they still needed more workers. She was wondering if my neice wanted the job. My neice had put her application in but started working somewhere else. My sis said no, but that I had put my application in and she told her my name. So I don't know if she is going to speak on my behalf or not. My neice who is 19 and doesn't even like to change diapers basically had the job because she had been called in before for an interview and they told her to come back on a Thursday then she got another job. So here I am a mother of two children and I do have experience working at a daycare and they would rather hire a 19 year old that doesn't have experience working at a daycare or even has any children of their own. Doesn't make sense to me. So now I don't know if I should go in and ask for another application since I could work up until 2:00 since we have only one car and dh is on 2nd shift maybe I could word things differently or something. Should I just confront them and say that I heard that there was a position open and just be direct as to what the problem is with me? What if they do call just because my sister knows someone and she spoke on my behalf ? That just makes me wonder why they wouldn't hire me before. I don't know. I feel like now my sis thinks I just lied to her when I told her that they told me they didn't have a position open or maybe I'm just not as good as her daughter. Whatever!?!

I am one that believes things happen for a reason (well, not everything, but...). This doesn't sound right for you. And it sounds strange. I would put my energy into something more worthy of you.
