I've gotten a few things off there - an outside swing & stage 2 baby food for DS - but mostly the items have been taken. I was going to post some stuff that I have lying around up there soon.

I love freecycle.. A couple weeks ago I recieved a pop up camper, its a bit older but in great condition.. I did post a wanted, and surprisingly got a response..
I do offer items alot too. All my kids clothes, books, toys , etc. that they have out grown.. I find it also a great way to declutter, things that are just taking up space in the basement that I know longer use, someone out there always can use..
It is also a great way to meet ppl in your community, I have actually gotten to know quite a few ppl, and now I can say that we are good friends..
Just always be careful, when you have ppl picking up.. If I am home alone for instance and I have not met the person recieving before I will leave it outside for them..
Safety first, if you feel more comfortable, meet in a public place for pickup, if you dont want them to know where your home is..
Just a tip..

If you do post a wanted, they do like it if you first post a offer..

You would be amazed at some of the items ppl are giving away, its great, and at the same time we are helping our planet by keeping things out of landfills.

happy freecyling..

I have gotten some nice stuff and it saves on my gas and time when I want to get rid of stuff. I just went through my closet last weekend and got rid off two bags of clothes on Freecycle. I received a lot of responses and someone picked them right up.
