Can't decide whether to feel good about what I did today or feel bad - either way I need to confess.

My former husbands birthday was yesterday and since I want to get the 'giviing' philosophy and not just 'gimmie' through to my son, I always take him to buy gifts for his dad - whom I despise. We bought a tshirt and hat with his favorite team logo and then my son wanted to buy a Plug n Play Wrestling game. His dad loves wrestling and I despise it so wasn't thrilled but my son felt really strongly that he wanted his dad to have this. I bought it at Kmart for $20.99 which meant I spent close to $50 on the a$$hole's birthday. We wrapped the gifts and send them with son yesterday.

I then went to Wal-Mart today and found the exact same game is $4.88. So - I bought the game at Wal-Mart for $4.88 and returned it to Kmart for $20.99 refund. Am I good or bad???

They have the product to resell, and you paid a reasonable amount for it at Walmart. No biggie. In my humble opinion.

I really don't think that is wrong in any way. I don't think it is any different then if you had bought the same product at the same store for two different prices and returned the more expensive one. I would feel proud of yourself.

I have done that before. I felt bad about it but I figured the store I returned it to got the product back to resell so they werent really out too much. I dont remember what it was becuase it was a couple years ago. I think it was some baby thing though.
