most of the stuff that the BRU Registry tells first time moms to buy like..a changing table. We just used an old dresser drawer and put a changing pad on it. And once your kid starts to squirm around it's safer to change them on the floor or in their crib anyways.

kids toys is another one..especially at full price.

MANGA!!!
Ok why does my DH have to be addicted to these stupid Anime books that he reads in like 2 hours and has to have at $10 a pop. It pains me to buy them but he wants to build his collection so as a splurge he gets on every now and then.

BOTTLED WATER!!!! (I do know and FULLY understand that some people need to buy it, because they have bad water, BUT there are thousands of people that buy it that DO NOT NEED TO) Anyone see the Dateline show about a year ago that proved that a lot of name brand and other bottled water was just "fancy tap water"...In cities, towns with good water, it's a WASTE of money!

Yeah!!! Also the "premade Pb&J!" I totally agree there. It's so cheap to make it and MUCH healthier for at least myself to make it, since we make our own jams, jellies and fruit spreads.

Size newborn-3 month Doc Martins! (spelling???) yeah...Noah got a pair in one of the boxes someone brought over with the Tags still on them and I about fainted! I cannot believe what some people spend on baby clothing! It's different if you buy it second hand of course, but buying expensive name brand kids/ baby clothing at full price is insane.

For ME it's a waste of money to buy toilet cleaner, bathtub cleaner because I find that baking soda and vinegar does a GREAT job. I know others don't like to do it that way, but my family has done it like that for as long as I can remember- and it's WAY cheaper and gets things just as clean. (My cleaning ladies even prefer to do it this way!!!)

I know that others choose NOT to breastfeed, and that's fine for them because it's TOTALLY a personal decision for EVERYONE!!!! But for me, I will and always have breastfed all of my babies (except Noah obviously) because if I can get it for free, why should I buy it? Like I said, it's a PERSONAL prefrence...and I don't have a problem with anyone who chooses not to-

It's kinda funny you all are saying this -- my DH makes the PB for these things LOL!!! So America's laziness is his job security!

Errr...ummm... well... *stands in front of her own very large Manga and anime collection to hide most of it so it doesnt look so huge*

The stories are good!! :D Korean artists are the best!!! Their stories are much more creative. Japanese ranks second, and US artists...ick.

If he wants to read though, without spending so much, you can find scans and stuff of loads ofthe series' online. And Amazon is the BEST place to get new manga, it's always buy three, get one free, and half.com is a great spot for used or remainered mangas.

Personally, I think its a waste to buy little trash bags when you can use grocery store bags for free. Also, a waste or salon shampoo when you can get something just as good or better, for less off the shelf in Target.

Rest assured that we help you out. DH loves the things for snacks at work. I figure he works hard so he deserves some indulgences. They aren't as messy as homemade either. We save on just about everything so I'm OK with this luxury for him.

I hate spending money on sattelite. I've suggested cutting this before and it is the one area where DH says NO!!
