I do it through my bank, except my credit cards , I pay those on-line to the CC company, b/c I want to see my balances. I don't pay any extra fees to do any of it (If I had to pay, I wouldn't do it) .

I save $$ in stamps, no worrying if it will get there in time (most of them are electronic debited so it is the same day transaction, or next day if I do it after 1 PM), and no writing out checks...that alone is a time saver!

This is me. The only check I write sometimes is my water bill, because even though i can pay that through the bank online, I tend to lose that little paper thing that comes in the mail, and I just go to the city to pay it by hand. Other than that, I pay everything online. A book of stamps could last us a year.

I pay my PG&E, AT&T, credit cards all online. I just sit my checkbook beside me along with the bill I get in the mail and go online and pay it. Its secure and youll get a confirmation of pymt to your email. Just write down what you paid in your checkbook and thats it. Its really simple. It saves on you having to buy stamps & using your checks and you can wait up until 2 days until the bill is due.

I use my banks bill pay and LOVE it. Yes, it saves on stamps but my favorite part is that when the bills arrive and I schedule the payment for a future date and file the statement away and forget about it. No more piles of "bills waiting to be paid" around the house. And all my bills are paid in the same place - no going from website to website for each company I have to pay. I could go on and on but I wouldn't want to bore you about how I love my bill pay.

That's all we use. We still get our payments in the mail, but pay online. We only do a one-time payment. It's easier to keep track of then doing automatic payments.

I pay eveything online!! I love the fact that If a bill is due that day - I can go on and pay it that day!!
Well some places you have to Pay them two days in advance - but most are by 4 or 5 pm!!

Is billpay through your bank better??
I will have to check that out in the new year!! Once I get my finances in order!!

I need to spend the time and sit and go over everything!! Its a mess

I pay almost all of our bills through my bank's bill pay. Every other week on payday I sit down and pay the current bills and it takes me 5 minutes tops. I have also set up automatic payments for the bills that are the same every month.

I use my bank's online bill pay and don't know what I would do without it. I used to be bad about bouncing checks because I had forgotten I had sent in a bill payment. Since this not only have I not bounced checks but it has actually saved me money on interest for some of the loans and credit cards. I can set up bills (like my mortgage) for a year in advance and not have to look at it at all. I can set up the bills by the way my paycheck goes in so not only are the bills paid first but then I get an actual account of what money is left for the next 2 weeks. I also get almost all of my bills via email. My mortgage, water bill, gas bill, and electric bill I still get in the mail (so I have proof in case something happens) but every other bill I get via email or it is already set up to be paid (gotta love those recurring payment plans!). I set up the payment the minute I get the email or bill and then file it away. I no longer have to worry about having to remember to write the check, keep paper statements, mail the bill, etc. Not only am I saving time, but money and the environment as well. For those who are worried over internet fraud, it is a whole lot harder to break into a bank's website than into places like Equifax (who have a wole lot more information on you!).

I pay my bills online but not thru my bankpay. I use the company's website they are secure. I pay my gas , electric and Direct TV bills all online. my morgage comes out automatically each month out of another bank account that my DH deposits into each check to cover our payment.
