I did it! I've been trying to find a way to contribute to our household income, and I had seen ads for becoming an Avon representative. So, I took a leap of faith and filled out the online application. I met with a district manager yesterday and signed up. I am really looking forward to doing this (if I can be brave enough to meet people!). The income is not huge to start out with, but hey, at least I can say I'm contributing.

Great news! I'm like you and like to bring a little bit of imcome into the house even without when the house would completely fall in on the rest of the family!

Congrats! Just be sure you don't stock up immediately and spend a lot right off. Let the business pay for itself and don't become your own best customer.
