If you live off post in an apartment or house invite all your friends over for a cleaning party and serve lunch and ask everyone to bring cleaning supplies and arrive early in the morining and by lunchtime the house should be close to being done. I know I would come to help a friend in need, especially if she had small kids or a baby!

We are just moving to another base which is 45 mins away and we still got some stuff in the pantry mainly can foods, clothes, little stuff that I don't want the packers to pack. Especially our glasses thats in the china cabinet. We are packing that ourselves. We live in Germany and we don't have that cleaning team over here. We have to pay if we want our house clean since we live on post. We dont have that many friends over here since majority of them already PCS back to the states. We probably have 3 friends out here and all of them work. There are some people that I can ask but I'll doubt it they'll see yes since they got their own schedule. I hate to admit it but over here everybody is for themselves. I hate to say it but there's no "team" in our housing area. Its like you clean your own mess.
We only have three people living in our building and probably 50 in our whole housing area right now. I know stinks but I guess we will make it somehow.
