Have you made a Christmas budget that you plan to stick to or are sticking to?

I don't really...I save money every week all year round to offset spending but I don't plan on spending a specific amount. It really can vary quite a bit, year to year, just depending on what I buy, what the kids want etc

I don't budget it, I just spend as little as possible to get what I want to get.

I voted no, but maybe I should have voted yes. We always spend about the same amount on each person each year. I don't expect that to change this year. While it's not a formal budget, it's an amount that is within our means.

I voted yes - we say we have a budget, but it gets harder and harder each year to stay in it. As the kids get older, what they wish for gets more and more expensive.

Yes we have a budget and each week we contribute to our holiday club so come the first part of every October, we get that money. I'm glad we do that so we do not have to scramble to "find" the money.

I don't really make a Christmas Budget. It varies every year, what people want, how big/little, etc so I don't say $50 for so and so.

We do a budget and really do our best to stick to it. Sometimes we go over, but usually not. We have a set amount that we spend on each person, kinda like what Kim said.

The key for us, is that we make a list of what we bought (in Excel), that way it is right in front of us in one place and we can refer back to it very easily, if that makes any sense at all.
