Definately! All year 'round! We give monetarily, with gently used items that we can no longer use and our time.

We give money throughout the year, it is easier for us budget wise. I donate gently used items all the time (cloths and toys grown out of, furniture as we replace it etc). We have two local organizations that do a great job giving to those in need. I also volunteer 3 hours a week at a battered women's shelter, and at 2 grade schools, and help run a church free shop. I love to fit it all in, although some weeks can be tough. I try to do it when all 3 kids are at school and hubby is at work so it does not impact family time.

Well, time would be better for me because you can show sincerity through your actions.
