I'm a big advocate for teaching kids about money and budgeting at an early age. Here are some of my gift picks that help kids learn more about finances:
Amazon.com: Payday: Toys & Games
My 8 year old daughter LOVES this game. It helps teach kids how to count money, make decisions about whether or not they should buy or sell certain things, and learn about paying bills.
Amazon.com: The Learning ATM - based on Larry Burkett's Money Matters for Kids: Toys & Games
I really like the idea that this bank divides money into the categories "Save, share, spend".
Amazon.com: Financial Peace Jr.: Teaching Kids About Money! : "Cool Tools" for Training Tomorrow's Millionaires!: Books: Dave Ramsey
Moms here RAVE about Dave Ramsey. Why not give your kids a head start?
Amazon.com: SmartMoney [1-year subscription]: Magazines
Great for young couples, or your dh. Only $7/year after rebate for 12 issues!
