I love saving my chang! I have one of the old Coca-cola bottles that are tall (comes to mid waist). I was determined to fill the thing just to see how much I saved. It took me about 2 years but it ended up being close to $800!!!! I was so excited! So now I'm back on track trying to fill it again!

Congrats on the new jar! We started tossing our coins into an old jar when we found out I was pregnant and everytime it fills (usually about once a month, around $80 each time) we buy something for the baby. Filled it once for a crib matress, twice for a nice stroller, etc. I think after Max comes it will become the saving for a new car fund Have fun!

Good job! We save a ton in our change jar. We started out just like you, with a sports bottle, and now we have a 2 gallon glass jug that we fill every year!

It's a great way to save and also to see progress as you're doing it.

You might need to get a bigger jar though, if you're like me!
