I only used my CC one time this year to order something online. everything else is cash! I made some extra money when I started a little business in Nov, so it helped alot! I am sooo happy. cause usually we charge them up.

All cash all the way and loving it. My dh and I were saying that this year might be the year the kids have gotten the most ever. Dh big big fan of christmas me I think a little to commericalized. I have a problem with buying my Halloween candy next to Christmas lights. Before you know it Christmas stuff will be out on St. Patty's Day What I started doing last month is filling up a 5 gallon water bottle with change it is amazing how much change dh & I accumulated during the week. I never give the cashier when I am shopping change, even if they ask I tell them sorry no change and whatever change I get back I drop in the jug. Before you know it will probably have a nice sum of money I am going to start to put in singles that I have left over at the end of the week that I would probably spend on something silly anyway and use that for next years Christmas.

This is the first Christmas that we will have no c debt after the holiday. Mostly due to my DH and I finding Dave Ramsey this January and actually doing a true budget and sticking to it. I also went part time in October which was unplanned and we have still managed to do Christmas debt free. Yeah!
