Usually at the end of the year we do the Angel Tree at church for a family and a few other little odds and ends. While we are still doing the Angel Tree, the rising costs of groceries, gas, property insurance, and everything else have forced us to rearrange our budget a bit this year.

Anybody else in that same boat? How do you, or do you at all, handle charitable giving at the end of the year?

It sure seems like everybody needs more at Christmastime - from the school giving away books to, well, everything. We are blessed and try to help as much as we can, but this year, we just are not able to do as much as usual and I feel so bad about it. We are still blessed, but just on a bit tighter budget - mostly due to gas and grocery increases not due to living a large lifestyle.
