Today dh calls me and says that he is at the store and they have 32" Plasma Tvs for $468 regular $768. Can he get one. I am like NO WAY! What the heck do we need one for and how would we pay for it! Well he advises me that he got a really GREAT bonus check today. WHOO HOO!!!! But I still said no way. So like 15 minutes later he calls me and tells me that he is proud of me for standing my ground and saying no. He wasn't going to buy it he just wanted to see if I had enough will power to not spend the money.

Reality check is that he is right. I have always been the one that we have the money so why not get what we want. Especially if it is on sale. So I am glad that he played that game with me. He really is teaching me that just because we have the money does not mean that we have to spend it.

So the timing is perfect for the Bonus which he WAS NOT expecting at all. We were crunching our numbers big time with the holidays and now we can relax just a little bit better.

That's great news! It's so nice to have the pressure taken off!

Good for you. My husband probably would make that same call but he really would be trying to find out if we really could afford that TV!
