I found this great eye opening blog entry about how $10,000 can easily go missing in a year. It makes me want to focus more on the small stuff in the new year that adds up to a lot over a year!

When I first saw the title of your thread -$10,000 missing!- my heart sank because I assumed your family had lost $10,000 or something. I am so glad that is not the case!!

Yes, money adds up quick. My hubby and I are addicted to QT pop (it is this really clean, nice gas station in the midwest. their fountain drinks are cheap and made with filtered water.) We go there like once every day and twice on the weekends if we are out. It costs us $2 each time. We added it up once and we give them like a grand every year for pop!!! Crazy! We have tried to cut the addiction, but haven't had much luck. Really need to because we could use the money we would save and I want to lose weight.

I'm so glad that it was just an article. When I seen the title my heart sank because I too thought that your family lost $10,000. I agree spending a dollar here and there really adds up. Especially if you are doing it and your spouse is doing it. This makes me want to do better in the new year.
