When you are tackling something financial (ie saving for a re-model or cutting your budget) do you do the 'baby steps' (just a little bit at a time) so you don't really feel it or do you just go 'gung-ho' and do it all at once (ie, you don't just cut back on cable and cell, you cut them out completely).

We try to do baby steps with our spending and our home projects. Total reform all at once feels like I am being deprived.
