somewhat. I want to be debt-free BESIDES my school loans. I owe about $24,000 in those so it will be a while.

I'm getting married in July and he has some cc debt, but I'm not sure how "divided" our incomes will be when it comes to "his, mine and ours". You know? We don't live together yet so nothing is combined right now. So I am just making a resolution to clear MY debt at this point.

We are very close. I have a payment or two left on the cc from Christmas. Truck #1 will be paid in March and #2 in October. That's it except for the mortgage. We were going to put an addition on the house this summer, but since the estimate was rediculous, we might just do a few necessary repairs and hold off. The economy isn't looking great and I don't think I want and extra payment book right now.

Today 1-11-08 I just sent in the check to payoff the cc that was $2,688.16. Now to work on the Lowes card , TV, Bose System, car, trailer, and house. Last night I checked to see how much we paid off last year (2007) the grand total was $10,455.00 for the year. But we did put an addition on the house so the TV, Bose System, Lowes card, and cc was all from the addition. So once that is paid off then I can get back on track, but that might be hard since we leave in four weeks on a cruise that was booked 24 months ago. The good thing is that it is all paid for already, just need some spending money.

So we are still living off the stockpile and just buying milk, fruit, eggs. All the extra money is going for our spending money on the cruise.

One step at a time and baby steps.

All have a great day.
