Prettyfeet - being aware of your debt is a great first step!

I would HIGHLY recommend reading Dave Ramsey's book "The Total Money Makeover" if you haven't already! I heard about Dave when I first found this site! I ordered the book since it was busy at the library and have LOVED it! It really changed the way I think about money! DH & I are currently listening to the book on CD at night now so DH can understand FULLY what I'm asking him to do!

Everyone here has such good advice though! I'm on here pretty much all day every day (way too much) just reading and looking for more ideas to save!

Paying off debt IS hard, but just keep picturing yourself years ahead when you have it all paid off, etc! I can't wait till we have it all paid off (except the mortgage) and our 6 months of expenses in savings... oh, and if I look further down the road I hope to one day be living in the paid off house... millionaire when we retire, etc!! It can all be possible with hard work and a vision!!

Good luck to you!
