...but, I'm not upset at all!!

I thought over each and every item, and decided, I love this, I really need this, I'll use this, and yes, it's a good deal.

For me, a lot of times I get obsessed with not spending money. But, from coming to this forum a lot lately, I've realized that being a good steward of your money isn't really about not spending money at all. It's about spending money wisely on the right things.

This is what I got:

$45 --Aveda- A haircut that I LOVE (first one in 6 months!)
$25 - Belk- Two new bras
$150- Belk-A VERY nice suit for work with two pairs of coordinating pants, a pair of jeans, two long-sleeved button-up blouses, 2 long-sleeved cotton shirts, a cable-knit sweater, and a turtleneck sweater

Side note on the clothes for myself-- I REALLY needed some new clothes. I even had a coworker (jokingly) say to me "Are those the only pants that you own?". Also, I have been wearing short sleeved shirts to work because I don't have any long-sleeved ones (and having to wear my jacket all day because I'm freezing).

$25- Old Navy- 4 new pairs of boxers for my husband, an outer-wear vest for him, 3 scarf/hat sets (That takes care of 3 people's Christmas gifts next year), a candle that will make a nice gift, and 4 gift bags on 85% off

I think overall I did pretty well. I feel good about how I spent my money.

I totally agree with you! Really when it comes down to it, it is about spending your money wisely and that is what I am hoping to walk away from FTJ. Spending money wisely! I went shopping myself on Friday and am very pleased with each purchase that was made. Minus our dinner out! But you can't win all the time!

That is great. It really isn't about how much money we spend buy HOW we spend that money. It sounds like you spent yours very carefully and that is wondeful.
