I was thinking later last night after I responded to your post about how incredible your progress has been.

I wanted to share some information that may help you even more that you may not know about. You can make bi-weekly mortgage payments sometimes at no additional costs to your lender and get your mortgage paid off even faster with the same amount of money out of pocket.

Say your mortgage is 1200/mth. You would just pay 600/2weeks to the bank. This pays off your principal much faster and you accumulate less interest charges. Some people find it even easier to manage two smaller payments instead of one large one. Sometimes you can even get a discount if you let them automatically take it out of your account.

A great place I go to is this website and it gives you tons of tips and motivational stories just like yours to keep you on track. FinishRich Media: The Official Home of David Bach, Where Smart People Come to Live & Finish Rich!
I have it bookmarked on my computer. Enjoy and keep up the great work!

What a great story! Thanks for sharing. I think it is a great reminder to those of us who have our screws up here and there that you can work out of it!
