Have you done stupid cheap? I have.

I found this gorgeous pair of black dress boots on sale for $30 down from $125. Ye Ha! Only problem was they are two sizes too big! What was I thinking?!?! I still wear them sometimes but they are hard to walk in even after I put in inserts!

Have you done stupid cheap? Tell us your stories.

I'm especially good at that at Goodwill. The last time I went I bought two or three shirts that I'll never wear! Good thing I'm only out like $10.

The Goodwill store in my area lets you return items. You should check into that!

I have been trying to break my habit of buying things just because they are dirt cheap. I tend to buy shirts that I never wear, but how can you pass up a 75 cent shirt?

This is my problem as well. I will buy so much clothing at Goodwill that my closet will get so packed that I don't know what I have - and then I end up wearing the same things over and over. I am trying to break that habit. It does add up money wise as well - I went back and looked at my check register for last year and there were months that I spent over $100 at Goodwill and Salvation Army.
