I never have - but I wanted to starting this year. Especially with our two little ones I think would be fine since they still wont be old enough to "want" things for Christmas.

I'm on the look out for great deals/prices on toys, movies, music, books, etc to use as presents for birthdays and Christmas. It's a great way to avoid "sticker shock" come December when you are starting from scratch.

I've already bought some things on Koh'ls.com with reduced shipping. I bought from their clearance and got some really good buys. I got many gifts under $10 for kids and under $20 for adults. I'm off to a great start.

wow... I have a lot to look forward to. I'm just trying to get through birthdays and baby showers/weddings. Not even close to Christmas. Bravo to everyone that has started! I'm gonna look into that!

I usually start shopping in May, but I started already this year. Last year (2007) was a bust for us because the baby had so many medical issues that we spent March through November just trying to keep our heads above water with everything (lack of sleep, especially). Because I didn't want a re-play of a very harried, stressful Christmas in 2008, I started shopping in Feb. I got the kids each a pair of Christmas pj's on super-duper clearance at the Children's Place and I got them each one gift so far. Everything has been on clearance, so it is good for our budget, too!

I start my sopping for the next year the day after Christmas. This year, got some amazing things half, and 75% off for next year's gifts.

I do shop all year. I honestly haven't done much yet, but I do have a few gifts that I got the day after Christmas. I also like making Christmas cards and some gifts, so I really need to get started on that soon. I want cozy evenings with a hotdrink in front of my fireplace admiring the tree lights. If I don't shop all year-I won't get many times like that in December!

I shop all year around, just because I try to find deals! You can save money by shopping year round. I do save every month for Christmas spending. When November comes around I use the "Christmas money" to buy those unexpected gifts and to shop for my husband. I try to be done with shopping before December.
