I have just discovered an AWESOME place to do some Christmas shopping for the kids. ACMoore (a large craft store). Every week they have coupons for at least 40% off a regular-priced item and they have a pretty good selection of toys. Last week I got DS a really cool puzzle and this week I got him a monster bowling kit (it's adorable). Both were made by Melissa & Doug, so they're creative, good quality toys. Although they're made in China, Melissa & Doug has their own staff onsite at their factory and they have an independent third party test their products to ensure they meet all US safety standards. So far, I've spent $24.04 on little man for X-mas 2008 and he's gotten two toys and a new pair of Christmas pj's (clearance from The Children's Place). They also have tons of cool craft "stuff" for DD. Just thought I'd share a source of good bargains that might not be in the forefront of everyone's thinking.
