I made more money the 1st 2 years after we got married and now I make pretty good money, but he is self employed and he make a whole lot more money than I make and we both don't have or never had any problems with that.

I am the breadwinner without a doubt. We joke that he's my boy toy, I'm his sugar momma.

No issues with this being the set up. In the future the positions will be reversed and I'll become a SAHM and he will be the breadwinner.

We are in this together

I have always made more than dh. It has never been an issue, and we've talked about it several times over the years. My dh jokes about it, actually. We mix our money so it really doesn't matter.

Also, my dh has always worked hard for what he makes so it has never bothered me either. Now if he were a deadbeat who couldn't hold a job, then I might feel different. I have more earning potential due to educational opportunities that came my way.

I definitely make more but that's just because my DH is in education and has a definite salary cap. It's never been a problem in our relationship - it's all OUR money. The only downside is I feel like I could never be a SAHM - our income would be cut too drastically.

I make a lot more than DH, always have, probably always will. i am much more money driven than him. Sometimes he has an issue with it, but he's mostly ok with it.

I make a lot more than DH, he was a little outta whack about it in the early years...but has come to the realization that it's probably never gonna change and we are a team so it doesn't really matter where it comes from as long as it's a comin' !!!
He does do a lot of stuff around the house, because he now works from home...dishes, laundry, vacuum, sometimes cleans the bathrooms picks up and he's always there to get the kids off to school and when they get home gets to help taxi...I don't have the stress when someone is sick cuz he always gets to stay home with them....
It's actually kinda nice....
