I still probably would not! For one thing, I have a large family, and it still would not be enough. I like for them to be able to do things (wrestling, volleyball, tennis, summer rec). Plus, as I said before, I like to be able to control my own destiny. If things are tight, I like to be able to have the option to work more, or earn more money. If we are doing well, I want to be able to invest money for the future. I would feel very out of control if our financial situation was controlled by someone else.

i'd take it! that's about 10k more than our household income currently! (and that's before taxes!!) would the 50k be tax free?
