On a scale of 1-10 (1 being least 10 being most) how often do you worry about money?

I was at the dentist office this AM with DS (what a way to spend his Birthday morning ) and saw the new Real Simple Magazine. In it there was a piece called how often do you worry about money. I loved reading the write in's on the answers, and thought it would make a great topic here.

I am middle of the road, so I guess I'd rate myself a 5.

I worry about it but I see we're okay and not hurting. We have a home, a new car, clothes on our backs and we can pay our bills on time. No, I don't put away as much into savings as I'd like, but that day will get here

Admittedly there are moments I get myself into a "tizzy" over things (and at that moment on a scale of 1-10 I'd give myslef a solid 11.5 ) but they always seem to work themselves out in the end. So the worrying is usually for nothing and really...It doesn't help solve the problem, so why stress.

I'd have to say about a 3. I don't worry about it too often since we both make pretty good money and live a secured life with extras, but I do worry about it sometimes, esp. with the trying economy.

Maybe a 2.

I'm at the most a 2, maybe only a 1. Maybe I should worry more, but I don't.

I'd be a 10. Dh is a small business owner in a commission based field. I am also self-employed, don't make a lot, but my income is more predictable. Dealing with the uncertainty of income, the high cost of buying private health insurance, and the high taxes associated with self employment/small business owner, can be mind-boggling.

I'd say 8. It may not always be "worrying", but I think about it often.

Well I used to be a 15... but now I'd say I'm more of an 8...we've paid off A LOT of debt in the past year and this has definitely changed the worry-o-meter!
