We just did an Amendment to add our daughter and we mailed it this morning to the IRS my question is does the IRS normally send checks or they put your money directly to your account ? and if they send checks how long does it take?

Did you fill the form out and put your bank routing number on it? If so it will be direct depostied. That takes about 10 days (in my experience).

If it will be mailed to you it takes about 6 weeks.
