First dh is getting a new pair of shoes and I'm getting a haircut. We're both way overdue. Next I would like to give a chunk to the church down the street. We are not members and don't attend services there but my dd goes to VBS in the summer and Kid's Club (on Wednesdays from August to March) there. It's a great church and she loves it there. Since we don't contribute (financially) otherwise I would love the opportunity to just hand over a nice check to them.

The rest will be split between outstanding medical bills from ds's birth (a year ago) and towards our emergency fund. Our regular tax refund that we'll be getting soon will be split between medical bills and savings also.

We're going to put it towards painting the outside of our house.

We are really serious about paying down the CC Bill so we will pay off our Lowes card in full and make a good dent on our AE. Yeah there are other ways I would like to spend it but I don't like how much consumer debt we have and so there is no real reason to spend it on wants.

Ours is going to savings. We need to build an emergency fund.

We are buying an upright freezer. My parents have given us a 1/4 of a beef but it is in my brother's freezer. A freezer will help our budget in other ways, too.

DS is getting a new bed. He's almost 5 and still in his toddler bed.

DH needs to go to the dentist and eye doctor. He says he's not using the money for those 2 things but I'm going to talk him into it. If he doesn't go it will cost us more money in the long run.

Anything left will go to cc debt.

Paying off our credit card (yay!) and buying a new efficient furnace - ours is older than I am (much much older!)

I really really want it to go to a vacation, but we'll probably send it to our lawyer to pay on our adoption fees. Or use it for cc debt which is a never ending battle.
