I had intended for it to pay down debt, but my car may need it now.

Does anyone have plans for their economic stimulus check yet? I think I am going to put mine in saving so I have an emergency savings account.

Take $100 or so and stock up on toiletries, household items (kleenex, toilet paper etc), and pantry essentials at Aldi's.
$500 into savings
The rest to pay off the washer/dryer.

There are a few different things that we need, but may have to buy most of them before the check comes. We need to fix the floor in the living room(it is warped) and will put a floating floor in the kitchen. Hubby needs to buy a used truck. Dh also wants to buy me a dishwasher, but I don't want one. I want a freezer. We will see. I guess when it comes it will go to home improvements. I could use some new clothes, but I want to buy some before summer. We don't get our check until the end of June. I hope to take a vacation at the end of June, so that might help. Whatever happens, the whole check will probably be spent, and nothing will go to savings.

we will be putting alot of it in the savings. We will also use some of it for stocking up on things (groceries, tolietries, etc). I also would like to use it for back to school stuff and since we wear uniforms that should be pretty easy and hopefully relatively inexpensive.

I forgot to look and see that I had already answered this. But see how a few weeks can change an answer? We do still need to pay on our debt as well.

We are going to use some for our son's bday party and to buy him some summer clothes. I also need to get a bathing suit for the summer. The rest we are putting w/our savings for a new bedroom suit.
