It's hard to say if it would be a good move to try to find dental coverage. This year you might use more benefits that your monthly premiums but what about the years to follow? Plus, you will probably have cost shares on top of your monthly premium. For non preventative work, it could be 50%.
I think its pretty hard to find a good plan unless its offered through someones employer.
