I love to read, I will read just about anything...and finance books are at the top of my list

If I could just put to use everything I've ever learned from them, I'd be a millionaire by now

Do you read finance books? Do you have a favorite?

I like Dave Ramsey,Suze Orman (even though they do have very different perspectives) and David Bach. Heck ,I'll even include Jonni McCoy here b/c Miserly Moms is one of my financial bibles....I re-read it twice a year!

All the time. I think I'd addicted.

Right now I'm reading Suze Orman (even though she is not my favourite .. I can still learn from her).

I just finished Total Money Makeover and Your Money Map is next.

I also enjoy David Bach and anything but the Motley Fool brothers.

My money favourite magazine is MoneySense. It has some great info on personal finance. (most of it Canadian) MoneySense magazine

I have read Debt Proof your marriage by Mary Hunt. I read that a couple of years ago and it got me to get started paying off my debt. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I just got an Ipod and started listening to Dave Ramsey's podcasts. I really like his show. It has gotten me more motivated to pay everything off in a little over a year. I checked out his book last week (Total Money makeover) and started reading it. It is very good!

Yes, I do. I read hardcopy books, magazines, and a lot of websites and blogs about personal finance. I enjoy information-gathering, and like to learn about different perspectives to better decide what works for me and my family. I have learned a lot.

I read all the time -- doesn't always matter what it is. I've haven't read any books lately on finance but I do follow the articles from MSN and the Yahoo "experts" some of those people.

Yep, I love to read too and I go in spurts of reading lots of books on a topic and then moving onto a new topic.
When I was on my financial book kick I read Total Money Makeover, Financial Peace, Automatic Millionaire, and Smart Couples Finish Rich.
Also, one that hasn't been mentioned yet that is really good is The Millionaire Next Door, I believe the author's last name is Stanley. It talks about how the average millionaire doesn't "look" like how you expect they would. And those that look like millionaires ofter are overwhelmed with debt. Eye-opening look at how appearances are deceiving.

I've read Amy Dacyczyn's Tightwad Gazette books, Mary Hunt's Debt-Proof Living and Tiptionary, Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover, and a couple by Suze Orman.

I have read all of the above, and have found something I could use from each of them. I think the must helpful book for me was : Smart And Simple Financial Strategies for Busy People, by Jane Bryant Quinn.

I think finance books are a lot like diet books. They all have the same goal, but different programs and motivation to fit different people.

I think I've read them all, but Dave's Total Money Makeover was my favorite b/c I got my dh to read it and he realized how much he wastes everyday on lunches out, etc.

I've read Dave Ramsey, Mary Hunt and Suzie Orman. I like Dave Ramsey the best. I don't enjoy the "heavy, detailed" financial books that talk about stocks and such, though.
