For a good inheritance lawyer. My poor aunt was lead to believe that it wouldn't effect her ss and some other benifit she gets, but as it gets closer to the date that she should recieve it, she is getting worried. A friend was telling her that she probably can't have it. She needs to find out, so she can refuse it if it will hurt her. She went to legal aid, but they told her to get help from someone who specializes in inheritances and disabilities. I can't help her much from Michigan. She was referred to somone, but it is a conflict of interest.

my friends dh is a lawyer but I don't know what kind so I'll ask her if he knows anyone. any particular part of MN?

She lives in Downtown Minneapolis. I tried looking something up for her online, but was pretty confused as to what kind of lawyer she needs. When I look up inheritance lawyers, they show lawyers that deal with making the wills, or disputing wills. Which is not happening. And when I look up social security lawyers, they show lawyers that help you get your social security, which is also not our problem.
