We were originally scheduled to get ours May 16th. Hopefully this means we'll get it a week or so sooner though. Woo hoo!

so if we were suppose to get ours may 9th does that now mean we will get it sometime next week?

As of right now it is a 5 day bump...so if you're scheduled May 9, you should get it on or closer to May 4 ....HTH.

I was hoping the emerald card might be the same as direct deposit, but apparently it doesn't. We won't get ours until June. I think that is good though. We will be very careful with what we have now, and may be able to use that towards vacation or a home spruce-up.
If had your taxes taken out of your refund, and had your refund deposted onto an H&R block Emerald card, you will be getting a check in the mail. I guess if you paid for your taxes upfront(and didn't do a rapid refund) and you got your refund on the Emerald card, you should get your rebate on there too. But I didn't get that from the irs website, just a few different other sites where people were asking tax pros questions.
