I try and look at everything as a learning experience (and really isn't life just that? 1 huge learning experience?)

How about financially? Have you made mistakes? (I'm not talking huge..any size money mistakes count here) I'm thinking at least 99% of us have and that last 1%, you know you have but you just won't admit it . Did you learn from it?

I've made some really big mistakes and some small ones that could have been potentially big (Have I ever mentioned that I have a slight dyslexia for numbers (I reverese them ALL the time) and I am in charge of the checkbook...see where this is heading?)

I've learned from the big and small. The big taught me the value of money and respecting it. The small taught me to check and re-check everything when it comes to any amount of money.

Yes, especially now. Sometimes in the past it has taken several times to make the mistakes before I learn. I am much wiser now

Yes! I've made some huge money mistakes, but I'm glad I made them young b/c now I know better and can make wiser choices.

Example 1: Charged up 15k in cc debt in first year of marriage-Learned major lesson there-hate CC debt now!

Example 2: Dh and I thought it'd be great to take out of his 401K to pay off that debt. Yet again-major mistake lesson learned!

Those are the worst I've made

Yep, I definitely do, and DH cracks up because I am not afraid of admitting I did something completely moronic (I don't sugar coat it for myself)
